Job Summary
HVAC Territory Manager in Eastern Iowa focused on building and growing relationships with residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC contractors. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding current accounts, and delivering solutions that help customers run more profitable and efficient operations. Will collaborate with branch teams, vendor partners, and internal specialists to ensure accurate quotes, smooth fulfillment, and strong customer satisfaction. Key duties include territory planning, pipeline management, staying current on technologies and market trends, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to drive growth. The role requires field-based, customer-facing engagement with the ability to analyze territory performance and implement effective sales strategies, with a compensation structure that includes base salary and uncapped commissions.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of outside sales, account management, or a customer-facing role within plumbing, HVAC, construction, building materials, or a related industry
- Exposure to the plumbing or HVAC industry with an understanding of—or the ability to quickly learn—equipment, systems, and contractor workflows
- Experience selling to residential and/or light commercial contractors; dual-trade exposure is a plus
- Proven ability to build relationships, manage a territory, and drive growth through consultative selling
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- General digital proficiency, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office
