Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems while performing inspections and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot heating and air conditioning equipment, including electrical and mechanical components, and identify system issues to recommend appropriate repairs. Complete service documentation accurately and communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions and work recommendations. Follow safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices while maintaining professional workmanship and respecting customer properties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional HVAC service, maintenance, installation, or repair experience
- Working knowledge of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to safely use HVAC tools, meters, gauges, and related service equipment
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC components
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with HVAC field service work
- Valid driver's license
- EPA Section 608 Certification
