Job Summary
HVAC Technician role at Walmart responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, tools, and digital/work-management systems. Duties include receiving and completing repair work orders, responding to emergency maintenance calls, inspecting and testing facilities and equipment, documenting repair activities, completing safety training, and ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance. Requires 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- Type I/Type II OR Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration systems in a retail environment
- Experience using work order management systems
- Ability to comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies
