Job Summary
Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment; receive repair Work Orders via work order system to support Stores and Store associates; respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls; inspect, operate, or test facilities/equipment to diagnose issues; complete required training to operate equipment safely; comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy; lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights; benefits include bonus eligibility, 401(k) and stock plans, paid leave, diverse health plans, Walmart discounts, work vehicle/tools provided, education benefit (Live Better U) for full-time/part-time associates; 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance; EPA Type I/II or Universal certification; valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
- Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
- Type I/Type II OR Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
- Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
