Job Summary
HVAC Technician role based in Stevenage, UK; responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment, completing site documentation, supervising subcontractors, performing risk assessments and maintaining maintenance task lists, updating asset and F-gas registers, and standing by on an on-call rota. Requires City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent, experience in a similar role, understanding of utilities systems, BMS familiarity, preventive maintenance experience, and ability to work within Veolia EHS rules; on-site and maintenance-shutdown flexibility, with potential for growth via ongoing training and development. Includes 40-hour weeks, night shifts (Mon-Thu), and a company van with 15% shift allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of basic fundamentals of utilities systems
- Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS) experience
- Preventive Maintenance systems knowledge
- CMMS/WMS experience
- Ability to pass Security Clearance check
