HVAC Technician - up to $2000 Signing bonus

Job Summary
Conduct routine and major maintenance, service, repair, and installations on all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment and controls. Perform diagnostic system checks, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and respond to alarms throughout the facility. Operate machine shop tools to braze or solder items for fabrication and repair, while maintaining and calibrating all related controls and Building Automation Systems. Complete all required documentation, including work orders, manhour reports, and data entry in the computerized maintenance management system. Perform on-call duties and support other trades as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in chiller operation and repair
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficient steam boiler and pressure vessel operator
- High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
- 2-year Military, Vocational or apprentice training in HVAC
- Journeyman HVAC license
- Five years experience in commercial HVAC
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Must have required basic hand tools
- Must understand Lock out Tag out Procedures
- Basic knowledge of CMMS and BAS is a necessary
- HVAC CFC Certification
- NATE Certification
