Job Summary
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments including healthcare, manufacturing, education, and office complexes. Perform site surveys, replacements, modifications, and installations by interpreting construction drawings and coordinating with other trades. Maintain assigned company equipment, document all job activities including daily time and progress, and provide technical support to customers. Represent the company as the primary service contact while ensuring compliance with internal contracting processes and enforcing the highest safety standards. Manage vehicle maintenance and tools, and provide training and follow-up training at customer sites. Requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC Installation
- Technical School or formal training
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
- Regular travel requirements with occasional overnight stays
- Flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- State Contractor Licenses (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Technical School or formal training is preferred
