Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems while conducting routine facility inspections to identify potential issues. Respond to work orders by prioritizing tasks based on urgency, fabricating or repairing equipment as needed, and supervising external contractors for specialized projects. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving maintenance-related issues promptly. This role offers a flexible schedule where you can accept jobs fitting your availability, with all assignments dispatched based on your coverage area. You must be located in the US, hold a valid driver's license, own your tools and vehicle, and possess EPA certification for HVAC technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, Appliance repair work
- Own tools and reliable vehicle (truck, van, or SUV)
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently
- MUST be located in the US
- Technicians who want routine maintenance work, not full-time employment
- Tradespeople who are self-motivated, communicative, and ready to handle straightforward tasks across rotating properties
- Appliance Repair (Microwave, Dishwasher, Store)
- EPA Certification for HVAC techs (mandatory under new refrigerant regulations)
- Must complete brief onboarding with vendor representative before receiving work
- Strong professionalism, punctuality, and communication skills
- Need to have necessary job tools
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Must complete a short onboarding interview
- Welding experience is a plus point
