Job Summary
HVAC Technician (Service or Install) responsible for on-site installations, service and repairs in residential homes. Requires a minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience with furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters (including tankless) and possession of Valid Gas Fitter Two License and Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal). Duties include educating customers on HVAC options, maintaining compliance with Technical Standards & Safety Authority and municipal codes, following Energy Star installation processes, maintaining a clean vehicle, promoting products/services, delivering a five-star customer experience, and contributing to health and safety standards. Must have a valid driver's license, clear criminal record, strong technical and customer-service skills, and ability to work effectively in a team. Relocation opportunities are available; the role offers hourly compensation with a comprehensive benefits package, and a company vehicle for work purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters
- Valid Gas Fitter Two License
- Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record
- Clear criminal record
- Strong technical and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- Demonstrated ability to lead generation and CPP enrolments
- Ability to complete installation and commissioning of HVAC elements
- Knowledge of Technical Standards & Safety Authority codes and municipal building codes and standards
