Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers and control systems. Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably. Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues using appropriate tools and methods. Monitor HVAC performance and recommend improvements or upgrades. Collaborate with the maintenance team on broader facility operations and emergency repairs. Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards. This on-site position supports Maintenance operations at the Corsicana, TX facility, following a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Universal HVAC Certification
- R410A certification
- Prior facilities maintenance or related operations experience
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, control systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, and building automation systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including wrenches, pliers, drills, and saws
- Knowledge of building materials, maintenance practices, and the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become larger problems
- Ability to prioritize tasks, schedule maintenance activities, minimize downtime, and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work safely in various environments, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in elevated or confined spaces
- Must be physically able to climb ladders and access tight or awkward spaces as required
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and pull, with good manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 Pounds)
- Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
- Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
- Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training
- Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents
- Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- This on-site position will directly support our Maintenance operations at our Corsicana, TX facility
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- Prior facilities maintenance or related operations experience
- NATE Certification and/or RSES Certification
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including wrenches, pliers, drills, and saws
- Knowledge of building materials, maintenance practices, and the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become larger problems
- Ability to prioritize tasks, schedule maintenance activities, minimize downtime, and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work safely in various environments, including standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in elevated or confined spaces
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and vendors
- Ability to learn new techniques, technologies, and maintenance processes
