Job Summary
Experienced HVAC Technician is needed to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. The role is regional with candidates residing in Richland, Pasco, or Kennewick, WA. Core duties include maintaining cooling systems, diagnosing and repairing components, performing maintenance/upgrades on HVAC equipment, responding to service calls (including emergencies), completing daily work reports, operating company vehicles in compliance with safety rules, and adapting to evolving client needs. Must hold Level 2 or Universal EPA certification and have 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred). Strong communication skills are required, with ability to travel extensively and be available for after-hours and weekend callouts. Occasional overnight travel is expected with per diem provided. The position involves outdoor exposure, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a required DOT physical. Required Qualifications
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required)
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure
- Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem
- Driving to remote work sites as needed
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- DOT physical required
