Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of commercial HVAC systems at telecom shelter sites. Conduct performance checks, perform out-of-season maintenance, and respond to service calls including emergency outages. Complete daily work reports and operate a company vehicle safely while traveling extensively to remote locations. Work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures, lifting equipment up to 50 pounds, with occasional after-hours and weekend rotations. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY, and be Level 2 or EPA certified.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Saratoga Springs, New York area
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
