Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install cooling system components for commercial HVAC equipment at telecom shelters. Conduct performance checks, perform seasonal maintenance upgrades, and respond to service calls including emergency outages. Complete daily work reports accurately and operate a company vehicle safely for extensive daily travel to remote sites. Maintain compliance with OSHA, FAA, and EPA standards while working outdoors in varying ambient temperatures. Available for after-hours and weekend call-outs with occasional overnights; company provides vehicle, per diem, and travel costs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Framingham, Massachusetts area
- Must be responsible
- Must be self-directed
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
