Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install components for commercial HVAC equipment at telecom shelters and cell tower sites. Conduct regular performance checks, perform out-of-season maintenance, and respond to service calls including emergency outages. Complete daily work reports accurately and operate a company vehicle safely while traveling extensively in an independent work structure. Available for after-hours and weekend callouts with occasional overnights; company provides vehicle, phone, and per diem. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Northampton, Massachusetts, hold Level 2 or Universal EPA certification, and pass a DOT physical.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Northampton, Massachusetts area
- Must be responsible
- Must be self-directed
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally
