Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of commercial HVAC systems at telecom shelter sites. Conduct performance checks, perform out-of-season maintenance, and respond to service calls including emergency outs. Complete daily work reports and operate a company vehicle safely to remote work locations. Travel extensively in an independent structure with occasional overnights, while complying with OSHA, FAA, and EPA standards. Requires Level 2 or Universal EPA certification and 3+ years of HVAC experience. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Herkimer, New York.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Herkimer, New York area
- Must be responsible
- Must be self-directed
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally
