Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install HVAC components for cooling systems at telecom shelters. Conduct performance checks, perform seasonal maintenance, and respond to service calls and emergency outages. Complete daily work reports and operate a company vehicle safely while traveling extensively to remote sites. Work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures and lift equipment up to 50 pounds. After-hours and weekend call outs are required on occasion, with occasional overnight stays. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure
- Occasional overnights required
- Driving to remote work sites as needed
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Fitchburg, Massachusetts area
