Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of commercial cooling systems at telecom shelters across the Lowell, Massachusetts area. Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance checks on HVAC equipment while responding to service calls and emergency outages. Complete daily work reports and operate a company vehicle safely for extensive daily travel to remote sites. Work outdoors in various ambient temperatures and lift equipment up to 50 pounds. After-hours and weekend call-outs are required on occasion, with overnight stays possible. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Lowell, MA, and hold Level 2 or Universal EPA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
- Must be able to lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Lowell, Massachusetts area
- Must be responsible
- Must be self-directed
- Must be highly motivated
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally
Desired Qualifications
