Job Summary
Peak Rentals is seeking an HVAC Service Technician responsible for providing preventative care and repairs for HVAC systems, including installation of new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems; inspection and maintenance of current HVAC systems; troubleshooting electrical and refrigerant-related issues; writing schematics; responding to service calls; and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, an HVAC degree or associate’s credential, and a state license, with 3-5 years of apprenticeship experience preferred, plus strong communication and customer-service skills. The technician will work outdoors in varying weather, participate in safety meetings, and coordinate with team members to complete tasks.
Required Qualifications
- EPA HVAC refrigerants certification
- Associate’s degree from an HVAC program or technical school
- State HVAC technician license
- 3-5 years apprenticeship preferred
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain HVAC issues to customers
- Willingness to be on call weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Valid Driver’s License
