Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including rooftop units, chillers, and DDC control systems, while troubleshooting malfunctions and adjusting oil/gas burners. Perform daily inspections, clean combustion chambers, and replace components like pumps, motors, and bearings as needed. Calculate head loads, modify piping, and retrieve materials to support facility and manufacturing process climate control requirements. Work onsite from 6:00am to 2:30pm in Marlborough, MA, adhering to safety rules and maintaining a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- High School Diploma, Equivalency (GED or HiSET) or two (2) years' Trade School Experience
- Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's license
- Current #608 EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Must be available to travel and have reliable transportation for alternate center assignments
- Ability to communicate, effectively read and interpret safety procedures
