Job Summary
Perform installs, repairs, and maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, commercial furnaces, boilers, and packaged units. Troubleshoot electrical problems and find effective solutions while maintaining strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Work independently and as part of a team with frequent interruptions, lifting moderate weight and working in confined spaces. Requires a high school diploma, HVAC apprenticeship completion, two years of experience, industry-specific tools, and certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory. Schedule may involve prolonged and irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship
- At least (2) years of work experience
- Industry-specific personal tools
- Relevant industry certification
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical problems and finding effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight (50-75 pounds)
- Sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, speak
- May experience prolonged and irregular work hours
