Job Summary
HVAC Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment supporting environmentally controlled archival facilities. Maintain HVAC equipment and controls, perform preventive maintenance, repair air handling units and associated equipment, diagnose equipment failures, monitor system performance, and maintain maintenance records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years commercial HVAC experience.
- Knowledge of chilled water and air distribution systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
- Maintain HVAC equipment and controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Repair air handling units and associated equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures.
- Monitor system performance.
- Maintain maintenance records.
