Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, monitoring, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with applicable standards. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts on chillers, air handling units, condensers, exhaust fans, boilers, and hot water pumps. Record readings, make adjustments, and manage Building Automation/Control Systems. Comply with safety protocols for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal while maintaining a clean workplace. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure excellent execution of maintenance work. Requires EPA Section 608 Technician Certification, ODS certification, and ability to travel to assigned sites including rooftops, including overnight travel as needed. Work Monday through Friday with participation in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (required for handling refrigerants)
- ODS Ozone Depleting Substance EPA Certification
- Fall Protection Certification
- Lifting Equipment Certification (if operating powered industrial trucks)
- Confined Space Certification (if applicable)
- Evidence of applicable State or local HVAC licensing as required
- Demonstrated experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in team environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
