Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in a commercial/industrial facility setting at Newark Liberty International Airport. Perform troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues, conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, test systems for proper operation and efficiency, and document work performed including parts used. Adhere to safety procedures and handle refrigerants and other hazardous materials, while providing prompt, professional service calls and collaborating with other technicians and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial and/or industrial settings
- Valid HVAC certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, principles, and regulations
- Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC systems using diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of refrigerants and environmental regulations
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience
