Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical equipment including pumps, fans, and compressors. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC control systems via CMMS while executing electrical repairs, plumbing, welding, and general mechanical maintenance. Respond to customer work orders, ensuring code compliance and recommending improvements to maintenance methods. Coordinate with outside contractors and serve as a resource for resolving complex technical problems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
- 5 years of experience in area of specialization
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain a security access badge
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift
- Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift
- Ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift
- Ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift
- Ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift
- Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
- Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding
- Ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends
