Job Summary
HVAC Technician II in Intermountain Health Facilities Management. Responsible for maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and building automation systems. Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance and inspections, diagnoses and repairs issues, and works with minimal supervision or with limited contractor support. Schedule: Full-time, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with an on-call week every 4–5 weeks (on-call period starts Friday 3:30 PM and ends the following Friday 7:00 AM). On-site location at Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, UT. On-the-job duties may include minor repairs or assisting with other projects, and adapting to a variety of systems and equipment. The role requires handling equipment safely and may involve driving; candidates should be prepared to lift and transport equipment, operate within safety protocols, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an HVAC technician
- Demonstrated abilities of the skills listed above
- A valid driver license may be required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions
