Job Summary
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance work and minimal installations. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance services to HVAC equipment, installing and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring safe operation of systems, diagnosing environmental control issues, and inspecting work for compliance with building codes. The position requires knowledge of HVAC-related equipment, ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings, and capability to work on-call shifts. Essential skills include Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication abilities. Certifications such as EPA 608 are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience
- Must have valid Driver's License
- EPA 608 Certification
