Job Summary
HVAC Technician provides maintenance and service on Wheeler Clinic properties, performing repairs and installations on commercial/residential HVAC systems. Responsibilities include uptime-focused maintenance, installing new units or replacement parts per specifications, maintaining spare parts inventory, completing daily work orders, submitting reports with receipts and notes, coordinating with vendors to minimize trips, participating in on-call rotation, identifying safety hazards, caring for tools and vehicles, and handling special HVAC-related projects (renovations, new openings, inspections). Must have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, especially rooftop units, and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of HVAC experience, plus a CT driver’s license. Location: Farmington, CT. Schedule: Full time.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in HVAC related field
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, specifically rooftop unit repairs and parts
- Experience in trouble shooting and diagnostic testing
- Valid CT driver’s license
