Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment for Enercare Home Services customers, delivering high customer service excellence and sustaining customer satisfaction. Provide best advice to customers on repairing or replacing existing equipment, promote Enercare Home Services products and services, ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order, keep the service vehicle clean and stocked, and communicate effectively with customers. Requires valid Gas Fitter licenses (1 or 2), 313D Air Conditioning license, CFC permit, a clean driving record, and a minimum of 5 years of field HVAC experience. Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. The role is based in Renfrew, Ontario, and falls under Enercare’s Home Services Operations with a 40-hour week and hourly compensation as per the collective agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Gas Fitter 2 or Gas Fitter 1 license
- Must have a valid 313D Air Conditioning license
- Must have CFC Permit (ozone depletion)
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract maintained
- Must have a minimum of 5 years recent relevant HVAC industry field experience
- Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting as per the Physical Demands Analysis
- Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to servicing HVAC equipment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Proven commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
