Job Summary
Commercial HVAC Technician at EMI Services on Camp Pendleton. Responsible for maintenance, repair, replacement, and modernization of commercial HVAC systems to achieve regulated climatic conditions. Requires knowledge of HVAC principles, ability to diagnose and determine efficient repair methods, reading schematics, and training lower-level workers. EPA Universal Certification preferred; capable of servicing split packages, residential-style units, light commercial systems, mini-splits, VAVs, and AHUs. On-base, non-travel role with non-seasonal, full-time hours; on-site work with safety protocols and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of commercial HVACR systems
- EPA Type II Refrigeration License
- HVAC I course or equivalent
- Regular, dependable attendance
- Overtime - nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one
- U.S. citizenship to access military installations
