Job Summary
HVAC Technician responsible for repairing and installing HVAC systems, condensers, evaporator coils, air handlers, gas furnaces, air ducts, refrigerant lines, vent hoods, and bathroom exhaust fans. Will remove old systems, install new systems, run new piping/ducts, and construct interior carpentry/masonry components. Tasks include interpreting construction plans, fabricating materials, maintaining EPA documentation, ensuring proper alignment and safety, and performing associated duties. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, 24 months HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid Texas Driver License. Based in Corpus Christi, TX with variable hours and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum of 24 months experience in HVAC operations (including plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- EPA certification
- Valid Texas Driver License and clean driving record
- Ability to work various hours and overtime as needed
- Knowledge of repair, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
