Job Summary
Senior HVAC Technician responsible for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems in a large-scale casino/hotel environment. Oversees 24/7 BAS/BMS monitoring, CMMS-based asset management, calibration and testing of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, VAV/VRF, exhaust, water treatment), ensuring indoor air quality and regulatory compliance across gaming floors, hotels, restaurants, and back-of-house areas. Performs preventive/predictive maintenance, manages service contracts and vendors, documents inspections and repairs in CMMS, and ensures adherence to codes (OSHA, EPA 608, gaming regulations) with strong communication and documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years hands-on experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial, industrial, hotel, resort, or casino environment
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Trade certification, HVAC license, or journeyman status
- Must obtain a valid gaming license, where applicable
