Job Summary
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including installing and repairing machinery and mechanical systems such as motors, pumps, and fans. The role involves diagnosing problems in environmental control systems and ensures compliance with safety procedures and building codes. The technician must exhibit knowledge of HVAC-related operations, willingness to work on-call, and effectively communicate with clients. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, relevant HVAC experience, and required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years’ commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience
- Good working knowledge of HVAC-related equipment and one or more of the following trades/skills: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA 608 Certification
- Microsoft Office skills
