Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including AHUs, chillers, VRF units, and ventilation fans. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while monitoring performance to identify potential issues before they impact operations. Diagnose faults, carry out timely repairs, and replace consumable components like filters and bearings. Monitor refrigerant levels, maintain control components, and ensure plant rooms meet high housekeeping standards. Follow permit-to-work procedures and lockout/tagout requirements while adhering to all HSE standards. Assist in emergency breakdown maintenance and prepare accurate maintenance reports. Minimum of 4 years of experience required, with HVAC certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar HVAC maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC maintenance practices, tools, equipment, and industry terminology
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, package units, VRF systems, pumps, and ventilation equipment
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements, including permit-to-work and LOTO procedures
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance efficiently
