Job Summary
Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. Regional role based in the Rutland, VT area. Responsibilities include maintaining cooling systems, diagnosing and repairing components, performing maintenance or upgrades to HVAC equipment, responding to service calls (including emergency calls), completing daily work reports, and safely operating company vehicle. Must have Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification and 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred). Strong communication skills required; willingness to travel extensively, including after-hours and occasional overnights with company-paid travel and per diem. Compensation $62,400-$83,200 annually, plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required)
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure
- Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion
