HVAC Technician

Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residences or commercial establishments by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants. Test pipe or tubing joints for leaks using pressure gauges or soap-and-water solutions, and verify electrical circuit continuity with test equipment. Replace defective equipment, components, or wiring while establishing customer rapport to ensure satisfaction. Requires past experience as an HVAC service technician, EPA certification, and ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds. Valid driver's license needed.
