Job Summary
HVAC Technician responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, and inspection of HVAC systems and related processes. Duties include attending assigned sites, performing preventive maintenance and daily checks, reviewing specifications and blueprints, procuring supplies, diagnosing problems, and providing extensive troubleshooting across site-wide HVAC, refrigeration systems, air handlers, and related equipment. Requires reading and interpreting drawings, adhering to safety and quality standards, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with job-site foreman/project manager. Must have knowledge of cooling tower water chemistry and control systems and hold relevant certifications/licenses (e.g., OSHA 10, EPA Universal, VRF experience).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or relevant field experience
- 5 years of Field Experience, trade school or apprenticeship
- Massachusetts Refrigeration License, EPA Universal Certification, VRF experience - review, layout and install.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Appropriate State/Federal certifications/licenses
- Advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
- Understanding and development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
