Job Summary
HVAC Technician responsible for repairing/installing HVAC and air quality systems, including preventive maintenance, plumbing and electrical support, and equipment inspections. Reads blueprints and design specifications to ensure proper installation, tests systems for compliance, and performs routine maintenance such as cleaning, filter changes, refrigerant handling, and power-washing. Role may require working on rooftops, lifting up to 35 lbs, standing/walking for long periods, and operating lift equipment; requires Maryland HVACR Journeyman license and at least 3 years' experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems. 1st shift; Beltsville, MD location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Maryland HVACR License (Journeyman)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems
- Ability to obtain/maintain ITAR-related access (U.S. person required)
- No immigration sponsorship (Eaton will not consider CPT/OPT/H-1B etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours
- Shift: 1st shift 7 am - 3:30 pm
- Local candidate within 50-mile radius (no relocation)
