Job Summary
Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment while training authorized operators on safe usage. Troubleshoot operation, function, and controls of rental gear, then clean and test returned units to ensure they meet operational and appearance standards. Schedule deliveries and service calls by communicating with customers, managers, and sales engineers, and direct sign-offs for paperwork. Operate company vehicles safely, check gas connections on flexible hoses, and maintain accurate records of in-stock and rented equipment. Work in the shop to keep it organized, clean, and safe, preparing gear for rental support. On-call for emergency service with a rotating weekend and evening schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a service-related role interacting with customers
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record free from points
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Must be able to work some after hours and weekend work during peak times
