Job Summary
HVAC Technical Service Representative responsible for delivering product training and troubleshooting support to contractors, customers, and internal teams on heat pumps and ductless HVAC systems. You will act as a senior point of contact for complex service-related issues, diagnose malfunctions (including control board failures and communication faults), process warranty cases, maintain technical resources, analyze recurring issues for quality improvements, and provide ongoing technical assistance to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years in HVAC technical service/diagnostics/training, relevant industry certifications and valid trade licenses, and the ability to travel periodically for field support and training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the HVAC industry, specifically involving technical service, diagnostics, field support, or equipment training related to air conditioning systems, heat pumps, or ductless technologies in residential and/or commercial applications
- Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and troubleshooting practices; previous installation experience is considered beneficial
- Experience delivering technical instruction or supporting contractors and customers in a service-focused environment is preferred
- Must possess the required industry certifications and valid trade licenses
- Ability to travel periodically for field support and training assignments
