Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems while diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults. Clean, adjust, and perform warranty services on equipment, conducting emergency repairs promptly. Identify maintenance risks and ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act protocols. Keep daily logs of all maintenance functions and provide technical direction and on-the-job training to customers. Assist with customer queries regarding air quality system selection and fulfill work instructions. Maintain a clean driving record and work in confined spaces to meet service standards. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- 1 years experience as a HVAC Technician
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
