Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems, including diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and performing emergency repairs. Clean, adjust, and repair systems while providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Identify maintenance risks, keep daily logs, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act standards. Guide customers in selecting appropriate air quality systems and assist with their queries. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial 5 years HVAC Experience
- 2 years experience as a HVAC Technician
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
- Ability to work in confined spaces
