Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, modify and repair air-conditioning equipment in an industrial environment according to safety codes and regulations. Must demonstrate excellent trouble shooting skills and be dependable, self-motivated, proactive, organized, and able to multi-task while staying calm in a high-stress environment. Some Saturdays and overtime may be required. Requires a 2-year certificate from college/technical school or at least two years related experience/training, or equivalent combination. Ability to communicate effectively, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and readiness to learn maintenance tasks and repairs. Must lift up to 50 pounds, provide a clean MVR, and be able to read/write in English; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year certificate from college or technical school, OR at least two years related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prove that they have a clean driving record with the ability to provide a copy of their MVR
- Aptitude for Maintenance related skills and a willingness to learn various components of the job
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to provide a clean MVR
- Must be able to read and write in English and basic mathematical skills
