Job Summary
HVAC Technician at Friendship Village Chesterfield (Independent Living community) responsible for installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems and related equipment to ensure resident comfort. Duties include diagnosing HVAC systems and related electrical issues, performing brazing and soldering of copper tubing, maintaining equipment per local/state/national codes, promptly responding to maintenance requests, ensuring uninterrupted heating/cooling services, and collaborating with residents, team members, and other departments while adhering to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- HVAC Certification required
- Two years of HVAC experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and HVAC equipment
- Experience servicing residential air conditioning condensing units and electrical baseboard heat preferred
- Ability to diagnose HVAC circuits independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
