Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems while diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults. Clean, adjust, and fix equipment, performing warranty services and emergency repairs promptly. Identify maintenance risks and ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act. Provide technical direction, on-the-job training, and assist with customer queries regarding air quality system selection. Keep daily logs of all maintenance functions and adhere to service standards. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a full benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial 5 years HVAC Experience
- 3 years experience as a HVAC Technician
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
- Ability to work in confined spaces
