Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC control systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through direct interface. Requires expertise in diagnosing complex control systems and providing technical recommendations for sales leads. Responsibilities also include mentoring technicians, managing project documentation, and promoting safety standards. Requires strong communication skills to explain technical information clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Four (4) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
- Vocational School program graduate or an associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
- Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
- Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.
- Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
Additional Requirements
- Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for system troubleshooting, repair and aftermarket services.
