Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all HVAC construction activities on multi-family projects from start through completion. Lead, mentor, and supervise HVAC foremen, field personnel, and subcontractors while conducting training, coaching, and performance evaluations. Review drawings, specifications, and budgets to manage manpower, materials, and equipment, ensuring work complies with project specs, manufacturer requirements, and mechanical codes. Conduct regular inspections, verify testing and balancing, and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe jobsite. Assist in managing project profitability, evaluate change orders, and coordinate with vendors and general contractors to resolve operational issues and maintain schedules.

- Ability to plan and coordinate all HVAC installation activities from project start through completion
- Ability to review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets
- Ability to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Ability to monitor project progress and adjust resources as necessary to maintain schedules
- Ability to identify and resolve field conflicts, design issues, and construction challenges
- Ability to coordinate installation of ductwork, equipment, controls, piping, and startup activities
- Ability to conduct inspections throughout all phases of construction
- Knowledge of project specifications, company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable mechanical codes
- Ability to verify proper installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Ability to promote and enforce a strong safety culture on every jobsite
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, company policies, and local building and mechanical codes
- Ability to conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and meetings
- Ability to assist in managing project profitability and labor productivity
- Ability to evaluate and implement change orders when necessary
- Ability to coordinate material procurement, equipment deliveries, and supply management
- Ability to work closely with project managers, vendors, and general contractors to maintain project schedules and resolve operational issues
