HVAC Startup Technician

Job Summary
Testing, inspecting, and commissioning newly installed residential HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation; identify installation deficiencies, perform basic troubleshooting, and verify systems are ready for homeowner turnover. Maintain documentation of startup activities and equipment information. Requires strong HVAC knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced residential construction environment while partnering with the team to meet standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, controls, and startup procedures
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
