Job Summary
Troubleshoot single and three-phase installations, check heating and cooling equipment for correct installation, and diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment to locate breakdowns. Assess customer needs, offer appropriate warranty and product service options, and handle product registration for retail and new construction installations. Maintain a database of leads while providing feedback on competition and marketplace standings. Build strong relationships with vendor partners and work under pressure with on-call schedules and long hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum residential field experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations
- EPA 608 Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to Pass drug Screen
- Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times
- Able to access In and out of attics
- Working On call schedules and long hours
