Job Summary
Startup Tech to start up newly installed HVAC systems in new residential builds, verify proper operation (airflow and refrigerant levels), test thermostats, identify/ report install issues, and document startup information using digital tools. Requires 1–3 years of HVAC experience, EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred), valid Florida driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass drug screening and background check. Full-time role with 8–10 hour shifts, overtime available, sign-on bonus, ongoing training and advancement opportunities with Bayonet in Central Florida.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HVAC experience
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
- Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- Must pass drug screening and background check
