Job Summary
Assist in the setup and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and successfully programming them. Work with multiple clients to schedule and perform assigned tasks, while supervising projects and investigating repairs to create and implement effective scenarios. Maintain inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records, manage employee time reports, and participate in safety inspections and job safety analyses. Test new equipment against design specifications and recommend modifications to improve safety. Requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, proficiency in controls or building systems, and ability to multi-task in varying temperatures and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Previous experience in an operational and customer facing role
- In-depth knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines: plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC Cooling and ducted air systems, general construction practices, generator systems, and controls systems
- Excellent building services knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available to work assigned schedules
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
